'Sweet Agony' is the term I have coined in place of 'hurts so good'. It means to have found the pertect depth and pressure during massage, the happy place. We are not only relaxing the superficial tissue, but releasing the deeper layers of the muscles where lasting issues tend to dwell.
I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2014. As with all careers, I learned a lot along the way. My goal was always to help people, but then I discovered exactly where my talents were most useful, and most personally rewarding. When I found Deep Tissue and Trigger Point Therapy, as well as a range of deeper techniques, something clicked. This was something I was good at, and something that too many people go without. Something that, unfortunately, many therapists don't have the strength to do. As an athlete of many years, the domineering eldest sister of 5, and the mother of a maniac, I have quite a bit of natural strength that's accumulated over the years. Now I get to use that strength to help others.
Pain, we've all felt it. It's among the greatest foes a person has. Pain can be deibilitating, mildly irritating, sporadic, constant, or any combination of the above.
What if I told you that you don't have to suffer endlessly? What if I told you massage could help? Will it be easy, no. Will it always be pleasant, no...but will it be effective, yes.
Make the commitment to your body!
